【概要】

メルセデス・ベンツのトップレンジであるSクラス。W126型と呼ばれるモデルをベースに、そのプレミアムモデルとして、AMGジャパンより「AMG Sクラス」をラインアップ。4ドアセダンは、標準的なSEモデルに対してロングボディ（全長5160mm）となるSELモデルのみ2モデル「560SEL 6.0-2V」/「560SEL 6.0-4V」を用意。SECクーペモデルも「560SEC 6.0-2V」/「560SEC 6.0-4V」をラインアップする。それぞれトップモデルセダン「560SEL」、クーペ「560SEC」（4名定員）をベースとし、排気量アップとなる6L V型8気筒を搭載し、DOHC 32バルブユニットは最高出力360ps、OHCは320psを発揮する。全車4速ATでFR駆動とする。
