2007年式 Chrysler 300C SRT-8
クライスラー・300Cは、5mを超えるビッグボディをもつクライスラーブランドのフラッグシップモデル。5.7L V型8気筒OHV HEMI（340馬力）エンジンと、3.5L V型6気筒OHC（249馬力）エンジン、それに6.1L V型8気筒OHV HEMI（431馬力）エンジンを搭載する。5.7L V8は、可変シリンダーシステム（MDS）を採用し、パワーを必要としない場合には4気筒を停止することで燃料消費量を抑える。ミッションは、マニュアル感覚のオートスティックドライバーセレクタブルレンジ機能付5速ATを搭載。バリエーションは、V8モデル「5.7HEMI」、V6モデル「3.5」、ハイパフォーマンスモデル「SRT8」の3タイプ。2007年モデルには、5.7HEMIに右ハンドルと左ハンドル仕様を設定、リアシートヒーターを装備し、左右独立して2段階の温度調整を可能にする。
The SRT-8 model was equipped with a 6.1-liter Hemi engine producing 425 hp (317 kW; 431 PS) at 6,200 rpm and 420 lb⋅ft (569 N⋅m) of torque at 4,800 rpm. The SRT8 can accelerate from 0–60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.9 seconds.
