This XE10 ditches the high-revving BEAMS 3S-GE for a torque-dense, throaty 4-liter 1UZ-FE V8. Redressed with Kelford Cams' 207-D camshafts and ported non-VVTi heads, this 360hp Altezza adds a unique flavor to the street-spec experience. Chassis-wise, not much has changed between the 3S-GE car and this example. It retains the parent car's wide range of chassis adjustability and gains a tougher W58 5-speed. In terms of rear end choice, the Ford 4.56 and Boris Factory 5.13 were dropped in favor of longer Ford 8.8" units (3.15 and 3.55) to compensate for the lower revs and far higher output of the 1UZ.

A slightly stiffer damper setting is recommended to deal with the added weight of the V8.
