【概要】

ポンティアック・GTO 1965年式
1965年、GTOを含むテンペスト各モデルは最初のフルモデルチェンジを受けた。前年度と同じホイールベースと室内寸法を保持しながらも、全長が7.9cm延長され、ヘッドライトはポンティアックのスポーツモデルの象徴である縦二連型に変更された。車両重量は約45kgの増加となったが、ブレーキシュー面積も約15%増加された。また、ダッシュボードのデザインも改良され、オプションでより視認しやすいタコメーターと油圧計が組み合わされたラリー・ゲージ・クラスター(rally gauge cluster)が提供された。
