Since the RS 2 Avant launched back in 1994,
the RS badge has been reserved for models that
combine supercar performance with everyday
practicality. And that is still true for the RS 4.
Available exclusively in the Avant body style, it is built
around the 4.2 V8 FSI engine. Developing 450PS, and
capable of a maximum 430 Nm of torque, it means the
RS 4 Avant can sprint from 0 to 62mph in under five
seconds on its way to a top speed of 174mph. This
formidable power is harnessed by the latest incarnation
of our renowned quattro all-wheel-drive, as well as
our innovative high-performance 18-inch Wave brake
