2012 Mazda RX-8 Spirit R

マツダRX-8は、軽量コンパクト・高出力を特長とするロータリーエンジン（直列2ローター 215馬力/235馬力）を搭載した4人乗りのスポーツカー。6速マニュアル設定のスポーツモデルは、ロータリーエンジンのローターを模したデザインの18インチ装着「タイプS」と、専用エアロパーツ、ガンメタリック塗装19インチアルミ鍛造ホイール、RECARO社製バケットシート、ビルシュタイン社製ダンパー等を装備し、スポーツ走行に対応する仕様とした「タイプRS」をラインアップするほか、特別仕様車「RX-8 SPIRIT R（スピリットアール）」を設定。

Mazda RX-8 is appeared in 2003.This car is successor model of RX-7 that a greatful wankel engine machine. This is a car that is halfway between a sports car and a family car. This was because MAZDA was in the midst of a period of low profitability at the time, and because Ford was participating in the project, the company was not allowed to develop a car with a rotary engine unless it met all the conditions presented by Ford. But it didn't sell because of the inconvenient door. Eventually, in 2012, the Spirit R was launched, bringing the curtain down on the RX-8 as well as the rotary engine car.
Incidentally, there are people who like this rugged style, and they are divided between RX-7 and RX-8 lovers.
