【概要】

レクサスのプレミアムスポーツ「F」シリーズのフラッグシップモデルである2シータースポーツ「LFA」。560馬力を発生するV型10気筒4.8Lエンジンを搭載し、トランスミッションには、「ASG（Automated Sequential Gearbox）」と呼ばれる、2ペダルの6速シーケンシャルトランスミッションを採用。この「6速ASG」には、モードの切替ダイヤルと、7段階のシフトタイムスイッチを備えており、エンジン制御やブレーキ制御と協調しつつ、変速特性を自在に変更することが可能。CFRP（カーボン・ファイバー・レインフォースド・プラスチック）キャビンを採用し、高いボディ剛性と軽量化を両立。また、エンジンやトランスミッションなどの重量物のホイールベース内側への配置に加え、ブレーキに軽量なCCM（Carbon Ceramic Material）ディスクを採用し、優れた運動性能や車両安定性を実現。中央のタコメーターは、コンビネーションメータであり、カラーTFT (Thin Film Transistor)液晶を採用し、モーター駆動により移動するリングを搭載する。全世界限定500台での販売としている。
