【概要】

アグレッシブなデザインと、サーキット走行ができる本格的プレミアムスポーツカーであり、「F」のスポーツイメージをけん引していくモデルの「RC F」。5L V型8気筒エンジンを搭載し、電子制御8速トランスミッションを組み合わせる。予防安全パッケージ「Lexus Safety System＋」を標準設定とし、歩行者検知機能付衝突回避支援タイプ「プリクラッシュセーフティ」、車線逸脱による事故の予防に貢献する「レーンディパーチャーアラート（ステアリング制御機能付）」（LDA）、夜間における歩行者の早期発見に寄与しロー・ハイビームを自動で切り替える「オートマチックハイビーム」（AHB）、設定車速内で先行車の車速に合わせて速度を調節することで一定の車間距離を保ちながら追従走行できる「レーダークルーズコントロール（ブレーキ制御付）」により安全運転支援を強化。また、ナビディスプレイを10.3インチに拡大し、利便性を向上した。さらに、ドライブモードセレクトにCUSTOMモードを新たに設定。パワートレーン、シャシー、空調の各制御の組み合わせを自由に選択可能とすることで、ドライバーの嗜好に応じた走りを実現した。また、ブラインドスポットモニター（BSM）とリヤクロストラフィックアラート（RCTA）を標準設定。

much the same RWD chassis as the old four-door IS-F,
and the unmistakable new Lexus design cues.

Behind that Predator-esque grille lie a boat load of electronics, too.
Most of them are designed to hide the RC F’s weight on the track and some of the systems,
like the TVS torque vectoring setup, are optional.
