【概要】
マツダ サバンナRX-7 FC3S GT-X
本格スポーツカーとしての熟成を図ったサバンナRX-7（SAVANNA RX-7）。SA22C型サバンナRX-7から1985年、2代目となった。マイナーチェンジを行い、エンジンは完全独立ツインスクロール・ターボの採用や圧縮比のアップなどにより、最高出力を205ps、最大トルクを27.5kg-mを発揮する。高性能ダンパー（GT-R、GT-X、カブリオレ）を装着するとともに、スタビライザーのサスペンション接合をゴムのブッシュからボールジョイントに変更し、操縦安定性を改善しつつ乗り心地も改善した。外観上は、前後のソフトフェイシア、リアコンビランプのデザイン変更（丸型3灯）、ボディカラーと同色のプロテクターモールの採用などにより、スタイルの力強さを強調する。

The Mazda RX-7 Turbo is a coupé with 2 doors and a front mounted engine which transmits the power to the rear wheels. The 2 cylinder, turbocharged Wankel rotary engine and a capacity of 2.6 (rotary equivalent) litres. This unit produces power and torque figures of 200 bhp (203 PS/149 kW) at 6500 rpm and 264 Nm (195 lbft/26.9 kgm) at 3500 rpm respectively. The engine delivers its power through to the wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission. Having a stated weight at the kerb of 1285 kg, the Mazda RX-7 Turbo can dispense with the 0-60 mph yardstick in 6.7 seconds and the quarter mile from rest in 14.9 seconds. Maximum quoted speed is 238 km/h (148 mph).
