【概要】

スズキ ALTO（アルト）HA23V

軽自動車のエコノミー&エコロジーなベーシック2ボックスがアルト。ボディタイプは乗用セダン(5ナンバー）3ドア/5ドア、商用バン(4ナンバー）3ドアの3種。搭載される660ccエンジンは、直列3気筒DOHC12バルブの54馬力、それに一部グレードのマニュアル車にはVVT可変バルブタイミング機構のついた同じく54馬力ユニット。駆動方式はFFとフルタイム4WD。トランスミッションはフロア式の5速MT、3速AT、4速ATが用意される。グレードはセダン系は3ドアがFFのみで、快適装備のN-1の1種。5ドアが充実装備のエポ、N-1、ベーシックなLbスペシャルの3グレード。バン系はVsと受注生産車となるFFのみのVl。安全装備としてセダン系はデュアルエアバッグ、プリテンショナー&フォースリミッター付きシートベルトを標準、バン系にはブレーキアシスト付ABSとセットオプションで装着可能（5万円高）。エポとVlの2WD車は、「平成17年排出ガス基準50％低減レベル」認定を取得、「平成22年度燃費基準+5％」を達成し、「グリーン税制」に適合する。
