【概要】

Volkswagen Golf R（ゴルフR）マーク7

ゴルフをベースに開発した、同シリーズ最強のパワートレインと4MOTION（四輪駆動システム）を搭載した高性能モデル「ゴルフR（GOLF R）」。2L 直列4気筒DOHCインタークーラー付ターボエンジンを搭載。トランスミッションは、マニュアルトランスミッション（M／T）と湿式7速DSGを用意。エクステリアは、バンパー（前後）のデザインを刷新し、フェンダーの奥まで切れ込んだ新形状のヘッドライトを採用することでスポーティーでシャープな印象を与える。LEDヘッドライトは、自然光に近い光がより明るく夜道を照らし、リヤも全車LEDテールランプを採用し後続車両からの視認性を高めた。先進安全技術として、コンパクトシリーズに初めて、渋滞時追従支援システムTraffic Assist（トラフィックアシスト）を設定（7速DSGに標準装備）。また、全車標準装備となるプリクラッシュブレーキシステム「Front Assist」（フロントアシスト）には、新たに歩行者検知機能を追加。Volkswagen純正インフォテイメントシステム「Composition Media」、「Discover Pro」機能を向上。また、先進技術として、前進・後退時衝突軽減ブレーキ機能が追加された。

The Golf R 4MOTION DSG is part of Volkswagen’s Golf 7 model range. The 2 litre engine is a turbocharged, double overhead camshaft, 4 cylinder that produces 306 bhp (310 PS/228 kW) of power at 5500-6500 rpm, and maximum torque of 400 N·m (295 lb·ft/40.8 kgm) at 2000-5400 rpm. The engine delivers its power through to the wheels via a 7 speed automatic gearbox. Stated kerb weight is 1505 kg. Top quoted speed is 250 km/h, or 155 mph, officially quoted fuel consumption figures are 8.9/6.2/7.2 l/100km urban/extra-urban/combined, and carbon dioxide emissions are 160.0 g/km.
