ガヤルドの後継車であり、ラグジュアリー・スーパー・スポーツカーの新たなベンチマークとなるべき「ウラカン（Huracan）」。搭載する新しい5.2L V10エンジンは、8,250rpmで449kW／610馬力の最高出力、560Nm／6.500rpmの最大トルクを発生。新規搭載のダイレクト・インジェクション・システム「イニエツィオーネ・ディレッタ・ストラティフィカータ（IDS）」は、ガソリンの直接噴射およびポート噴射を巧みに融合。7速デュアルクラッチ・トランスミッション「ランボルギーニ・ドッピア・フリッツィオーネ（LDF）」、および完全電子制御の四輪ドライブシステムを組み合わせる。ストップ＆スタート・テクノロジーにより、エネルギー消費量を12.5L／100km（CO2排出量290g／km）にまで低減。コックピットを擁したフロントから車両のリアまでを、たった1本のラインで繋げ、サイドのウィンドウは、ガラスの宝石を思わせる六角形のフォルムで、車体のサイドを彩る。メインのヘッドランプにLEDイルミネーションをフル装備しただけでなく、本セグメント史上初めて、その他すべてのライティング機能にも最新のLED技術を標準装備。インテリアでは、12.3インチのフルカラーTFTインストルメントル・パネルには、レブ・カウンターからナビゲーションマップ、そしてインフォテインメント機能に至るまで、すべてのカー・インフォメーションが表示され、ドライバーが自由に構成変更が可能。また、インテリアを引き立てる上質なナッパ・レザーとアルカンターラを、数種類のカラー・コンビネーションで用意。

The Lamborghini Huracán is a sport car built by Lamborghini, replacing the Gallardo. The Huracán made its auto show debut at the March 2014 Geneva Auto Show and was released in the second quarter of 2014. The name of the Huracan LP 610-4 comes from the fact that this car has 610 horsepower and 4 wheel drive. Was named "The Supercar of the Year 2014" by car magazine Top Gear.

The Huracán Coupé has been created for unprecedented performance. All the power and acceleration of a naturally aspirated V-10 engine, without giving up control or fun of driving.

The Huracán's name (huracán being the Spanish word for hurricane) is inspired by a Spanish fighting bull, similar to various other Lamborghini car models. Huracán was a bull known for its courage that fought in 1879. Also Huracan is the Mayan god of wind, storm and fire.
