【概要】

「ブラックシリーズ」とは、メルセデスAMGのブランドスローガンの「ドライビングパフォーマンス」を体現したピュアドライビングマシン。究極の運動性能と圧倒的な存在感を示すスタイリングを兼ね備えた少量限定生産車。
メルセデスAMG GTブラックシリーズは、メルセデスAMG史上、最もパワフルな市販車となる。ドライサンプ潤滑システムを備えたメルセデスAMG の4.0リットルV型8気筒ガソリンツインターボエンジンを、強化して搭載する。ブラックシリーズでは、ツインスクロールのターボチャージャーを減摩ベアリングに取り付け、スロットルレスポンスをさらに高めた。ターボチャージャーには大型のコンプレッサーホイールを装備。1時間あたりの空気供給量は、メルセデスAMG『GT R』の900kgを上回り、1100kgに達するという。大型のインタークーラーも装備されている。これらの変更により、メルセデスAMG GTブラックシリーズは、最大出力730hp/6700～6900rpm、最大トルク81.6kgm/2000～6000rpmを獲得する。
