【概要】
マツダ サバンナRX-7 FC3S GT-X
本格スポーツカーとしての熟成を図ったサバンナRX-7（SAVANNA RX-7）。SA22C型サバンナRX-7から1985年、2代目となった。マイナーチェンジを行い、エンジンは完全独立ツインスクロール・ターボの採用や圧縮比のアップなどにより、最高出力を205ps、最大トルクを27.5kg-mを発揮する。高性能ダンパー（GT-R、GT-X、カブリオレ）を装着するとともに、スタビライザーのサスペンション接合をゴムのブッシュからボールジョイントに変更し、操縦安定性を改善しつつ乗り心地も改善した。外観上は、前後のソフトフェイシア、リアコンビランプのデザイン変更（丸型3灯）、ボディカラーと同色のプロテクターモールの採用などにより、スタイルの力強さを強調する。

The Rx-7 was completely redesigned for 1986 with independent rear suspension, 13B fuel injected engine and Porsche 944 style bodywork. Weight was up quite a bit and the Rx-7 moved more towards a GT style car. VINs begin with FC so this generation is often known as the FC. A turbo model was also optional (except in Japan where only the turbo was sold). In 1988 convertible body style was offered.
