【概要】

F40（エフフォーティー、伊：effequaranta /エッフェクアランタ）は、1987年にフェラーリが創業40周年を記念して製作したリアミッドシップ・後輪駆動の2人乗りスポーツカー。公称最高速度324km/hは、発売当時世界最速の市販車だった。フェラーリの創始者であるエンツォ・フェラーリがその生涯の最後に、同社の「そのままレースに出られる市販車」という車作りの基本理念を具現化した、歴代フェラーリ生産車の中でも根強い人気を誇る車種。開発時のコードネームはル・マン24時間レースを意味する「LM」。
パワートレインは改良を加えたインタークーラー式ツインターボエンジン、F120A型を搭載。ターボチャージャーは日本の石川島播磨重工（現IHI）製。排気量2,936ccは当時のFIAが定めたターボ係数1.7を掛けて5,000cc以下のクラスに収まるようにしたものと言われる。
このクルマが持つ出力特性はいわゆるドッカン・ターボで、パワーバンドに入ると同時に急激に立ち上がる強大なパワーには多くの腕に自信があるドライバー達をも悩ませた。

This version features improved and realistic physics made by Matteo Vignaroli (Ryoner) with realistic acceleration, dynamics, balance and braking.
The 3D model is also improved and features new materials and HD textures:
– 4k ambient occlusion map
– realistic 300/9 red color
– improved rim materials, textures and HD details
– original Pirelli Pzero tyres (1987 model)
– new ferrari emblems and bolts texture
– realistic kevlar interior and seats leather
– realistic headlights and tailights textures and adjusted lights values
– Alcantara steering wheel
– real license plates
and many more little improvements…
