The Volkswagen Scirocco R is a coupé with 2 doors and a front mounted engine which transmits the power to the front wheels. The 2 litre engine is a turbocharged, double overhead camshaft, 4 cylinder that develops 261 bhp (265 PS/195 kW) of power at 6000 rpm, and maximum torque of 350 N·m (258 lb·ft/35.7 kgm) at 2500-5000 rpm. Power is supplied to the wheels via a 6 speed manual gearbox. Claimed kerb weight is 1344 kg.
