The Mazda MX5 NA was presented in Chicago on February 1989. Provided with an all-steel body shell and a light-weight aluminium hood, in Japan it was sold as Eunos Roadster.
Initially build mounting a 1.6 L engine, in 1994 the model was freshened with the introduction of the more powerful 1.8 L. This was destroyed along the way and had to be replaced with a well fitting RB25DET. Body tuning by GUEARILLA Mods
Pit rev limiter set to 100% (8000rpm) turbo 0% = 270 bhp@5800rpm, 295 Nm@3800rpm
Pit rev limiter set to 111% (9000rpm) turbo 100% = 597 bhp@8400rpm, 603 Nm@5800rpm
